The Conversation of Positive Women

Positive Woman flowerThe conversation positive women have is quite different from other women’s conversations.

Think about what you and your girlfriends usually talk about. Is it other people? People you may not even know? Are you critical, inquisitive, speculating?

When positive women get together, the conversation is about:

  1. your beliefs
  2. your values
  3. what you love
  4. what you think about how you “play life”
  5. how you feel about how your life is evolving
  6. what your excellent future looks like
  7. what you’ve learned that day to assist you in becoming who you truly want to be

What do you and YOUR girlfriends talk about?

  1. Is it positive?
  2. Is it empowering?
  3. Does it assist you in becoming a better person?
  4. Does it provide feedback that supports you?

or does it drain you, cause anxiety or inspire you to feel sympathy, anger or jealousy toward others?

What will your NEW conversations be?

If your current girlfriends aren’t into your “new conversation,” are you willing to attract new positive women for friends?

  1. Excellent advice. Also tweeted. The first type of women you describe are gossips who are best suited to the Kardashian type soaps. The second group are my preferred companions.

  2. Hey Kelly Rudolph!

I love the message that you are sharing of women coming together to support each other in positive way.

For me what is more important than being positive, is being real.

My true friends are those that are ‘there for me’ when I ‘feeling good’ or are ‘feeling down’.

They are ‘real’ and take me for where I’m at and know how to support me.

I do my best to do the same for them.

    1. Thank you, Suzy. I agree with the being “real” thing. So many women do not have friends like that YET. 🙂

  3. Hey Kelly!

Good blog! I’m reading a book picked up at the airport by Gretchen Rubin called “The Happiness Project.” Former law clerk for Sandra Day O’Connor, now full-time writer by choice, highly recommend this book!

Don’t worry, be happy, and Merry Christmas!

P.S. Yes, too often women are gossipy, competitive, and disrespectful of one another. That has to change!
